Zarya Module
The Zarya Module was the first module of the International Space Station.
The Zarya ("Sunrise") module was launched into orbit by a Russian Proton rocket on November 20, 1998.
The Zarya module is also known as the Functional Cargo Block and by the Russian acronym FGB.
