Orbital Transport

Originally introduced in 1969, and inspired by a painting on the cover of the November, 1959, issue of Popular Mechanics, the Estes Orbital Transport kit featured a futuristic design with a gliding orbiter. The rocket's booster is 23 inches long and .976 inches in diameter. The orbiter is 8.6 inches long and .736 inches in diameter. The recommended engines for the Orbital Transport were the B4-2, B4-4, B6-2, B6-4, and C6-5.
