North Coast RocketryNCR was a high-power rocketry company created by Chris Pearson and Matt Steele. NCR sold rocket kits and a line of motors manufactured for them by Aerotech.
Eventually, NCR began making their own rocket motors based on Potassium Perchlorate which produced a pink flame.
In the mid 1990s, NCR was purchased by Estes as a way to get into the mid-power and high-power rocketry market. Although a few mid-power kits as well as some "Darkstar" motors were released under the North Coast Rocketry banner, Estes discontinued the NCR line of rockets and products in 2000.
