The "Barrowman" method is a set of equations developed by J. Barrowman for estimating model rocket stability. More sophisticated methods are available to cover conditions not covered by the Barrowman method, e.g. supersonic flight. Refer to the "Handbook of Model Rocketry" by G. Harry Stine, 6th edition, Chapter 9 on "Stability". Note references on pages 140 and 14, Appendix II, and Appendix IV.
