Before Fiberglassing

I cut circles out of foam which which I slid onto rods. The body tubes fit over the foam which makes a handy stand for fiberglassing the body tubes.
Fiberglassing

Fiberglassing a body tube adds strength to the tube without adding much weight.
Fiberglass Cloth

I applied a layer of 4oz. fiberglass cloth followed by a layer of 2oz. cloth.

For the expoxy, I used [misc]West System[/misa] 105 resin with their 206 hardner.
Fins

The fins and launch lug stand-offs were cut from 1/4" plywood.
Fin Slots

Slots for the fins and launch lug stand-offs were cut into the body tube using a Dremel rotary tool.
Launch Lugs

The launch lugs are installed on stand-offs. Lots of epoxy and a layer of fiberglass ensure they'll stay on.
