Nose Cone

The Cineroc nose cone is a simple cone shape. I couldn't find a commercial nose cone with the correct shape, so I made one. I started with a styrofoam cone to which I glued a bulkhead and centering ring.

This assembly, made of 1/8" plywood, will hold the camera within the Cineroc payload section.
Eye Nut

An eye nut is attached to the top of the nose cone. This will allow the recovery system to be rigged so that the camera will face downward when the rocket is coming down under the parachute.

This is the completed Cineroc payload section - except for the camera shroud. The nose cone is home-made. The 4" body tube and transition are LOC Precision parts.
