After one flight, Akavish landed in one of the streams. It was a little wet, but wasn't damaged.

This is what's inside the Akavish. The body tube is 4" in diameter and the motor tube is 29mm. A 1/4" launch lug is attached to the motor mount tube, but is offset a little to prevent the launch rod from rubbing against the tape used to hold the motor.

Quarter-inch dowels form the legs of the spider. They pass through holes in the body tube and are glued to both the body tube and the motor mount.
