The Rock-A-Chute

The "Rock-A-Chute" was the first model rocket. Designed and built by Orville H. Carlisle and his brother, Robert, the Rock-A-Chute consisted of a paper nose cone, a paper body tube, a paper launch lug, a four-sided plastic parachute, three balsa struts, and three cardboard fins.
