St. Louis ArchAn article by Mort Binstock in the May/June, 2001, issue of Sport Rocketry described the "St. Louis Arch." One end of a 60' roll of 1 3/4" wide crepe paper is taped to the fin of a Big Bertha rocket which is launched on a C6-3 motor. The crepe paper streamer unrolls during the flight of the rocket forming an arch.Links: |
