Estes introduced the Scissor-Wing Transport kit (#1265) in 1974. The boost glider uses a "scissor-wing" which pivots to transition the rocket from boosting to gliding for recovery.
The rocket is 22.75" long and .976" in diameter with a 15.75" wingspan. An updated kit was released in 2004.
