Loadable Motor SystemLoadable Motor System ("LMS") is the name Aerotech uses for a line of single-use motors which are assembled by the end-user. LMS motors are easily assembled with 5-minute epoxy. Like RMS motors, LMS motors provide the ability to change or modify delays. LMS motors include a color-coded bondable aft thrust ring and FirstFire Jr. igniters. The final cost to consumers of LMS motors may be less than comparable single-use motors because LMS motors are less expensive to ship. Because they are not fully assembled, LMS motors may be sent by authorized shippers via USPS Parcel Post with no additional "hazmat fees." References: |
