Gemini 11Charles Conrad Jr. and Richard F. Gordon Jr. were the crew of Gemini 11 which was launched into orbit on September 12, 1966.
Gemini 11 rendezvoused and docked with the Gemini Agena target vehicle. Gordon performed an EVA during which he attached a 30-meter tether between the two spacecraft. Automatic reentry was successful. References: |
