EndeavourEndeavour is the name given to the Apollo 15 Command Module.
Endeavour is also the name of the fifth space shuttle orbiter (OV-105). A national competition involving students in elementary and secondary schools was held to name the new orbiter. Endeavour was delivered to Kennedy Space Center in May of 1991. It flew its first mission in May of 1992. References: |
